Home is where you hang your hat

For the past four months I've been looking for a condo. If the deal ever goes through, I'll explain the whole thing at the main site when the deal finally is complete (perhaps a week until I sign something, then however long until close ... probably not till mid April I'm thinking). For now, I'll leave it with the following.

I'm going to be able to "afford" it (a very subjective word around here) only because the guy that owns it is giving it to me for a good deal. Not a great deal, but a good deal (again, everything is relative, you'd be amazed at how much it's going to cost).

He initially didn't like my terms because he wanted 20% down. Fairly reasonable in most of the world, but if I had 20% to put down, I'd be looking for a house. It went back and forth (literally) for about 3 months. Today, I was finally given the ok and it looks like sometime in the next two months I'll be moving out of this building in which I've lived for the past eight years.

I haven't signed anything, but that appears an inevitable conclusion within the next week or so. Like I said, when it's definite, I'll be posting something more significant.

For now, I just wanted to update the site.
